Session Formats

WASAD-SFB TRR58 will offer an educational program in cooperation with the Center of Mental Health, University Hospital Würzburg. Further details will be presented at the WASAD and SFB homepages as we are progressing in the planning of the congress. 


Keynote Lectures

Keynote lectures of 60 minutes will be given by a distinguished and renowned expert and will be devoted to a specific topic of major interest. 


Symposium

These sessions will usually last 90 minutes. They will focus on a particular topic and present the very latest data related to it. The symposia will include four or five speakers who first present their researches followed by a wrap-up discussion. These sessions will combine presentations by invited speakers and the best submitted papers accepted for the congress by the scientific committee. 


Posters

Authors are invited to present their latest research findings or important ongoing research as posters; these will be grouped into areas of research by the WASAD scientific committee. 


Guided Poster Tour

Authors were invited to submit abstracts on their latest research findings or important ongoing research. The guided poster tours were selected by the Scientific Committee based on a peer review of all abstract submissions.

The most interesting posters are grouped by topic and presented in 30-minute moderated tours. Each tour will consist of a maximum of 7 posters in the same general field and will take place during the coffee breaks from Thursday to Sunday.


Industry Sponsored Sessions

Industry sponsored sessions are organized by the industry in consultation with the scientific committee are considered for the congress days from Thursday to Sunday. These sessions are scheduled during the congress and will not interfere with the scientific program.
