14 – 16 September 2017
4 Keynote Speakers
Anxiety and stress-related disorders are the most common psychopathologies causing enormous burden to the affected patients and the society. There is thus an urgent need to advance our understanding of these disorders with the goal to improve prevention and treatment. The success of this endeavor critically depends on close cooperation between all involved scientific disciplines leading to a truly translational approach. Our first joint meeting organized jointly by the World Association for Stress-related and Anxiety Disorders (WASAD) and the Collaborative Research Centre “Fear, Anxiety, Anxiety Disorders” (SFB-TRR58) in Würzburg, Germany, intends to stimulate scientific translational exchange among researchers in this area. The renowned keynote speakers as well as symposia with excellent international contributors guarantee a simulating scientific program.
You are warmly invited to join us and enjoy and enrich our program.
We are looking forward to meeting you in Würzburg Germany.

The WORLD ASSOCIATION FOR STRESS-RELATED AND ANXIETY DISORDERS, WASAD, is an independent non-profit organization founded in 2016 by leaders of clinical and translational science.
The reasons for this are:
Stress and disease sequelae related to stress and trauma as well as anxiety disorders represent an ever growing social problem and cause psychological distress affecting professional life, lifestyle and quality of life. These diseases are now one of the most common causes of work absences and thus have direct social consequences affecting not only affected persons but also the social environment.
